On Thursday 12 December, Coonabarabran High School had the pleasure to receive a visit from Brother John Giacon Phd.  A Gamilaraay/ Yuwaalaraay Linguist and lecturer from the Australian National University (ANU) to discuss CHS successful Gamilaraay Year 8 Language Program. Brother John was overwhelmed by the success of the program and the positive progress in which the program has built around positive relationships, pride, and the ability for students to understand the technical  conventions within Gamilaraay Language.
