

Coonabarabran High School is a comprehensive high school in a rural community with long and proud traditions of excellent student outcomes in the academic, sporting, cultural and citizenship arenas. The school aims to provide a balanced education which incorporates a wide diversity of both curricular and co-curricular activities. The students are positively encouraged and guided to extend themselves in a variety of fields, embracing the school motto “Forever Dare”. Coonabarabran High School is a valued and integral part of the local community. The school receives diverse input from all sectors of the local community especially the parents, the Aboriginal community, business and the services as well as local government. This is a major feature of the school and further enhances the school’s reputation.
