Indigenous Garden

foundations of our Indigenous Garden

Work on Stage 1 of Coonabarabran High School Indigenous Garden (“The Gathering Place”) began last week and will continue until completed next week.  The garden will feature sandstone borders, paving, planting and a corroboree area.  The focus of the garden reflects the aim of all of our Indigenous programs at the school – “The Past, the Present and the Future”.  Stage 2 will focus on providing seating and shade for the area in addition to completing the planting.  A big thanks to Dubbo Landscaping for their involvement in this project.

Official opening dates, times and arrangements will be announced closer to the time.
